  • Shad Bailey - Director

    Shad is an experienced Auctioneer and Livestock Salesperson, with a career spanning more than 15 years. He has a true passion and a great personal drive to succeed in business. Shad became a shareholder and Director of Colin Say & Co. in 2009.

    Shad is a fully licenced agent, a level 1 professional AuctionsPlus assessor for both sheep and cattle, and a current T.A.C board member of the RMA Network, concentrating on the training and development of younger auctioneers.

    Outside of work, Shad is a keen sports enthusiast, having been involved in many sporting clubs within the community, and has secured premierships for both Glen Innes Rugby League and Union clubs. He is also a member of the local show committee and has a heavy involvement in many rural activities.

  • Nathan Purvis - Director

    Nathan joined Colin Say & Co. in January 2004. He was made a shareholder in the business in 2007 and was granted his stock and station and real estate agents license in 2009.

    He has a quiet, unassuming manner, excellent stock knowledge and second-to-none stock handling skills. Nathan enjoys excellent rapport with a wide client base and importantly, a good connection with the buying sector in the industry. Nathan ensures that he is available to his clients and is generous in providing advice and support where required.

    Nathan is also an active member of the local show society, enjoys show cattle judging and participates wholeheartedly in local cricket and rugby. He is a former finalist for the RAS Rural Achievers Award and the Mike Nixon Award and winner of the RMA Award for Excellence – Best Marketing Innovation 2010. He has his own registered Charolais stud and is an all-round great ambassador for our industry.

  • Ben McMahon - Livestock Salesperson

    Ben McMahon started with Colin Say & Company in July this year. Ben lives just north of Inverell at Oakwood with his fiancée Jess.

    Ben grew up over the border in the Killarney district and completed a boilermakers apprenticeship upon leaving school. He then worked in the family’s wholesaling and farming business.

    In a career change Ben commenced agency work at Inverell in 2015. Steadily immersing himself in all things agency, culminating with winning the Australian Livestock & Property Agents Young Auctioneers Competition in 2020 at the Sydney Royal.

    Ben is an accredited AuctionsPlus assessor and is enthusiastic about his place in the team at Colin Say & Company. Being based in Inverell allows Ben to grow and develop his agency contacts and service client’s needs in a thriving rural district.
